Autumn is such a pretty time in Colorado. The aspens are a glorious gold, and the other shrubs in the Rockies are every earth-tone you can imagine. I know that God loves me because He made the world in color. I don't know why He made it so glorious if He had not loved the men to whom He gave the world.

Isaiah 45:18 For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God himself that formed the earth and made it; he hath established it, he created it not in vain, he formed it to be inhabited: I am the LORD; and there is none else.

God created the trees and the flowers and the rocks and sky, the animals and gorgeous autumn sky, for the enjoyment and pleasure of man. It is sinful to go around with a long face as if the world stinks and everything is going to pot. There is a certain arrogance in the minds of those who think that man can destroy the planet. Is man wiser and greater than God? Never. Modern humanists tell us that we must abandon our truth claims about God and His Son, the Lord Jesus, or the earth will be destroyed. Only by abandoning our faith can we all free base together in a mulligan stew of random opinion.

Go out and look at the leaves. Can you undo the work of God? You can undo yourselves, and then only so far as happiness is concerned.
